Hope Health Missions Program
Applications for the upcoming winter Hope Health Missions program are now open for students who may be interested in gaining hands-on experience in global health and community-based healthcare delivery.
Through the program, students work alongside Ghanaian clinicians and public health professionals, participate in rural medical outreaches, and contribute to health education, monitoring and evaluation, and disease prevention initiatives. It is also an opportunity to experience Ghana’s rich cultural heritage while developing a deeper understanding of healthcare delivery in an African context.
Tulane Journal of Policy & Political Economy
The Tulane Journal of Policy & Political Economy is currently accepting article submissions for our sixth edition. Submissions should be original academic research papers written in or out of class, independent studies, and honors theses. Publishing your research is a great opportunity to strengthen your professional profile and graduate school candidacy, while substantively contributing to the greater academic landscape.
The Tulane Journal is an internationally recognized undergraduate publication of student research in politics, economics, public health, foreign affairs and public policy. All submissions are reviewed by a team of student editors and a faculty review board of over 50 Tulane professors in order to determine the best submissions to feature in the final publication. The fifth edition received over 75 article submissions, and they accepted eight of the highest-quality research and writing.
Article submissions are due by November 30th, 2026. All submissions must be a Google Doc link with Chicago-style footnote citations. For more information and to submit, please visit The Journal website at: https://www.thetulanejournal.org/submit

Summer in Paris Program
If you are thinking about studying abroad this summer, please consider the Summer in Paris program. During this month-long stay in France (May 29-June 26), students take six credits taught by Tulane faculty. All courses are offered in English, so no knowledge of French is needed. Classes are based on excursions and guest speakers, so students get a lot of experience outside the traditional classroom.
Best of all, we are offering two health-related courses! You can take SPHU 2030 – Public health in France and/or SPHU 3070 – The French medical system: history and present. We also offer fantastic courses in international business and law and French film. See the attached flyers and the website for all the details. There will also be two opportunities to meet the faculty and have all your questions answered:
- Paris Info Session: Tuesday, October 27th from 1-2 PM in LBC Race 201
- Study Abroad Fair: Tuesday, October 20th from 2-5 PM in the Kendal Cram Lecture Hall and Qatar Ballroom
