Raising Awareness and Informed Student Empowerment (RAISE) Leadership Program
Interested in reproductive, sexual, and maternal health? Want to connect with a network of health and advocacy experts, and learn how to effectively share information about these topics with your community?
Apply now for the Raising Awareness and Informed Student Empowerment (RAISE) Leadership Program!
This professional development program is completely free, including travel, lodging, and meals. RAISE leaders will be paired with a mentor, and provided with a preview of what it’s like to work in sexual, reproductive and maternal health spaces.
Students enrolled at any two or four-year college in the state of Louisiana, pursuing any field of study, may apply.

Odyssey House Louisiana iPrevent Volunteers
The iPrevent Prevention Department at Odyssey House Louisiana is looking for volunteers who are passionate about improving community health and making a difference. Whether you’re:
- A student exploring a career in public health, healthcare, or social services,
- A peer with lived experience who wants to support others,
- Or a community member interested in learning more about prevention, outreach, and harm reduction, we invite you to join our volunteer team.
Our program provides prevention education, community outreach, and harm reduction services that help reduce health risks, promote safety, and connect individuals with essential resources and care. Volunteers help extend our impact by assisting with community outreach, supporting health fairs and special events, assembling and distributing prevention and harm reduction supplies, and promoting health education throughout the community.
Volunteering with iPrevent is a great opportunity to:
- Gain hands-on experience in community health and outreach.
- Learn about prevention and harm reduction practices.
- Support individuals and communities with compassion and dignity.
- Earn volunteer hours while making a meaningful impact.
